Music Bank Day

I haven't been posting any breakfast pictures because..... I haven't really been eating breakfast. I had a bit of indigestion the past few days and I just couldn't eat anything without feeling nauseated, so I've been either skipping breakfast or just eat a very small breakfast. I think I'm getting a little better now...... thanks to my roommate's Pepcid AC thing.

So we went to Music Bank recording today......... but it was kind of disappointing, I must have to say. We had to line up a few weeks before at school to get a chance to go to this recording, and now that today has come, we realized on the bus that we were not really going to a recording. We were going to the rehearsal.... for about 30 minutes. Sigh. That means we're really not gonna see anything. Needless to say, I was super disappointed. I feel that if we were better informed, I probably would not have signed up for this and just signed up for a lottery ticket to go to the recording myself (you need to sign up a few days before the recording and they will randomly select people to give tickets to the recording).

But we did go to the rehearsal and saw a little bit of the Kpop stars who were rehearsing there.
So no cameras or cell phones are allowed because no pictures or video recording whatsoever. Understandable. So there's not much I can really show, picture-wise.

Who did we see today..? Well, a lot of people that I had no idea of. Haha. We saw this group called VAV practicing three times on stage of their new song. I really appreciate these performers.... they practiced all three times like it was just their first time. My dancing friend said that they danced harder each time! They had a smile on their face no matter how many times they were doing this thing...... true performers. I also really feel like..... these people are so young, but they really try so hard just to make it big. Their job is a truly 24-7 job..... they have to always put up a show. That kind of life is quite tiring...... at least I get time off work - they probably rarely get any time off.

They had a lot of fans cheering for them...... which I'm really glad to see. They debuted two years ago... hopefully they do well in the future! They were working super hard!
After them, we saw this other group, who looked really new and YOUNG, called G-reyish. Hmm..... my friend and I both feel like it's gonna be hard for them to make it big. Their song was not catchy, more like techno with very high pitched fake voice...... and the girls looked too young and doesn't have personal style. They should probably have debuted later..... they just look like after school kids....
There was also another group who came on after them, but we had to leave by that time.

However, we did see the hosts practice! I do know one of them! Woohoo for me! (haha). The Music Bank hosts are currently Lee Seowon and Solbin:
Haha, I took a picture of the YouTube video of the live broadcast of Music Bank show that was aired today. So yes... this is exactly how they looked like today! The guy is only 20 years old, but he is really muscular... he looks like he's 26! I saw him in a previous drama and he was quite good as an actor. I don't know who the girl is, but I heard she's from APink. She was super skinny......

They had other more famous guests, but they don't come on the show, or rehearse at all...... like they had Mamamoo and Red Velvet today, but we didn't get to see them :( Sigh, so sad.

Anyways, it was a good experience going though. There really weren't that many people watching them rehearse... and everyone was all business about it. We were trying to not make a fuss, so we were pretty quite the whole time. Whenever they finish a song, we'd clap for them, but that's about it. The audience area consisted of only 2-3 groups like us, and that only filled up 1/6 of the place, if any. But seriously, if any of those Kpop idols ever showed up on the street, I really wouldn't have any idea who they are. They really looked just like the other peoples..... except they're all super skinny.

Alright, back to happier thoughts. My lunch. Haha. I had some Kalbi Mandoo (dumplings) for lunch today and they were delicious! Although kind of small, so I was a bit hungry afterwards... but nevertheless, quite good.
I ate with my classmates and they had other kinds of mandoo. Mmmm... yum!

And since we finished this rehearsal watching so early, my friend and I had nothing to do..... so we just watched around Sinchon area, trying to shop for some cosmetics at some better price. Well...... my friend said "do you wanna take a picture with Got7?" and pointed to Jackson's life figure promoting this makeup brand.
I said no.... because it's weird, and also that I tried taking pictures of Park Bo Gum in the front of a makeup store last time and got escorted in.... so I'll just stay a bit farther away this time.

I rarely hear Got7's song in Korea...... although I hear A LOT of Twice's new song, Signal, probably at least 2 times a day. I asked my friend why that is, and she said that it's because Got7 hasn't come out with a new song yet (their new song was released in March! That's new, right?) and Twice's song came out two months ago, so that's newer. My goodness....... 好現實. In US, I hear the same songs over and over.... even though they're more than a year old. Oiy. And they play Justin Bieber's song a lot here...... I suppose it's super popular.

Bleh, enough comments here. Time to sleep!

Oh, and if you wanna actually watch the Music Bank show that was aired today, here's the YouTube link!
